Our educators work with you, your family, and carers to understand your condition and develop practical management strategies. Whether you're newly diagnosed or managing diabetes long-term, we offer flexible education options tailored to your needs.

- Telehealth available if you can't attend in person
- Qualified interpreters available on request
Family members and carers play an important role in diabetes management. We encourage them to attend education sessions to better understand and support you.
School Visits: Our educators work with schools to support children with type 1 diabetes and educate staff and students about the condition.
Community Health Promotion: Our team is available for community events and awareness activities.
Personalised Health Education
Healthy Living NT provides free, high-quality diabetes education services to all people with diabetes, pre-diabetes and those at risk, living in the Northern Territory.
Our services are supported by the Northern Territory Government, the NT Primary Health Network and the NDSS.
They are delivered by qualified diabetes nurse educators and dietitians.
