For initial education, people with type 2 diabetes are encouraged to attend a group education session.
This is designed to give you the tools to understand and start managing your type 2 diabetes.
This group is also encouraged if you have had diabetes for a while but have never had education or may want to refresh your diabetes knowledge.
Following group education you will then have ongoing reviews as individual appointments.

Need an interpreter?
Professional interpreter services are available on request free of charge.
Please let our reception staff know if an interpreter is required when booking.

Individual appointments
If you are commencing on insulin, have been referred for insulin management, have a disability, require an interpreter, or live in a remote area, you may need to attend an initial individual appointment instead of the group to meet your needs.
